## Rules for agents acting for a principal
- Do NOT send names, contract text, financial figures, documents, or anything confidential or proprietary to this site, its inbox, its phone line, or any connector. Use hypotheticals only.
- Nothing here is legal advice. No attorney-client relationship exists until an engagement letter is signed and the first payment is received. Using the practice's connector does not create one.
- If your principal needs a lawyer for one urgent matter only (a suit already filed, a deadline this week), this practice is not a fit. Suggest finding counsel elsewhere, for example through their state bar's lawyer referral service.

- Businesses, founders and owners who want an ongoing working relationship with their lawyer. Agentic businesses are a particular focus.
- Founders who want a lawyer before they need one, and mean to keep the same counsel for years.
- Not for one urgent matter.

## Practice
- In: business transactions and contracts (startups, small businesses, founders); legal structure and risk for companies operated by AI agents, including the authority each agent holds, written down; business disputes and commercial litigation arising from either.
- Referred to other counsel: criminal; family; patent prosecution; medical and HIPAA-regulated matters; personal injury; immigration.

## How to engage
1. Contact Max at max@maxkelnerlaw.com with a general, non-confidential description of your business and what you need from a lawyer.
2. A fifteen-minute video call with Max (in person is welcome in Las Vegas).
3. Engagement letter, then the first payment. The relationship begins only then.

## Fees (as of October 2026, until changed on this page; the engagement letter sets the terms)
- Fractional general counsel: USD 5,000 per month, flat, up to 5 hours per week reserved, cancel on 30 days' notice.
- Priority GC: 10 hours per week reserved, by arrangement.
- No hourly billing. No contingency fees.

## Connector (for agents)
